and

Nodelock Licensing
22 July 2002

1. Install PAWS Studio.
Note: You must be logged on as a user with administrative privileges.

This will give you the hostid for the pc. (NOTE - you must run this from a dos prompt. "Double- clicking" on lmhostid.exe will not show the host id).

3. Provide TYX Support your lmhostid. For example:

0050339436c4

- TYX Support can be reached at (800) 321-PAWS by phone or support@tyx.com by e-mail.

4. TYX Support will provide you with a license file - for example: 11-999.lic

Create the folder 'licenses' in <usr>\tyx\

Copy the .lic file to <usr>\tyx\licenses on the pc

5. Open an explorer, run <usr>\tyx\Flexlm\LicMgrCfg.exe

- In the License Path cell, specify the path <usr>\tyx\licenses

- click ok.

Note - it's ok for the "FlexLM Server" cell to be blank.
