Windows XP Professional Statement
In our ongoing interest to provide our users with a seamless transition to new operating
environments, our staff of engineers and developers has taken the necessary steps to ensure
that TYX Products are compatible with the Windows XP Professional operating system.
TYX has pursued a timely assessment, test and validation strategy for TYX PAWS, TYX TRD and
TYX TestBase Product Lines. Our strategy allows us to identify and correct problems before
they have any adverse impact on product quality, functionality or availability.
Our products have undergone independent verification and validation to ensure that they are
Windows XP compliant. A dedicated test and integration area was established for this purpose.
In addition to conducting thorough regression testing of our products, we are now developing
many of these products within the Windows XP environment. Should there be any adjustments,
we would like to reassure our users that software updates would be made available as quickly
as possible.
In support of our Product Lines, TYX reserves the right to make changes to its products
or to discontinue any product. Product Line changes are required to meet evolving market
demands for new features, capabilities, and products. It is our policy to maintain backwards
compatibility with previous releases of supported PAWS Products. Customers are encouraged
to maintain their software maintenance agreements to receive any required software updates.
In this regard, TYX intends to ensure that our customers are operating with the highest
quality products available. It is our goal to make the best efforts to protect our
customer's investments.
In certain cases, changes in software technology may preclude our ability to
guarantee complete backwards compatibility. In these cases, product release notes
will annotate and describe all enhancements, critical items, known limitations and
incompatibilities. The release notes will also contain available solutions or any
prescribed work-around. Users contemplating product changes or upgrades should contact
your TYX sales representative. Your sales representative can provide information and
guidance for making purchases, software maintenance, upgrades, and deployment decisions.
