1.0 Overview
The TYX License Manager for Windows NT will handle the licensing requirements for the accompanying version of TYX software. This license manager must be installed on a Windows NT 3.51 or NT 4.0 system (server or workstation) that is on a network configured with TCP/IP. The License Manager must be installed and running before TYX software will function.
The accompanying TYX software can be installed anywhere on the TCP/IP network, in one central location or in several distributed locations.

5.0 Considerations
1. The system on which the TYX License Manager for Windows NT resides must have a static IP address. Please contact your network administrator to verify that this is the case. This consideration is part of the License Manager design and there are no plans on changing this requirement.
2. For certain TYX products, the licensing requirements may be such that it is not feasible to provide the key via telephone (the code(s) may be extremely long). In these cases, TYX prefers to e-mail the key. E-mailed keys can be copied and pasted into the License Manager Administration program by the user.
