1.3.1 Ability to use "Ctrl-C" from the "Output" and "Find Results" tabs

Paws studio allows the user to use the windows short cut key "Ctrl – C" to copy contents from the "Output" and "Find Results" tab.

1.3.2 Tooltip on Files in Paws Project Window

Paws studio provides a tooltip displaying the full path name of the file in the Paws Project Section.

1.3.3 New CEM Options and Settings

A> Batch file to register VC++ environment variable before CEM build/compile

Paws studio allow CEM users that use the Microsoft Visual Studio compiler/linker in their CEM Modules to register environment variables needed for the "cl.exe" and "link.exe" processes. "vcvars32.bat" is a Microsoft Corp. supplied batch file which is present with every version of Microsoft Visual Studio. It contains environment variables for "PATH", "INCLUDE" and "LIB" which are used during the compile and link process. Users can provide a full path to this file or use the "Browse" capability to setup the full path name.

A common setting for the "vcvars32.bat" path for all CEM Modules can be provided from the right click "Settings" option of any CEM Module and updating the "Batch File That Sets the Compiler\Linker Environment Variables" edit. This dialog can also be accessed by using the Menu "Options" à "CEM".

Note:

Every version of Microsoft Visual Studio contains a "vcvars32.bat" file. You should be able to locate the file under the "[Local Drive:]\Program Files" directory where Microsoft Visual Studio is installed. If you have multiple versions of Microsoft Visual Studio installed be sure that the "vcvars32.bat" (path) used if from the version of the compiler/linker you would like the CEM Module to be built with.

B> Skip CEM Module Build

Paws studio also allows users to skip a CEM Module from being built, in the build process. Use the right click "Settings" option or the the Menu "Options" à "CEM", to check the "Skip Building This Module" checkbox.

1.3.4 Progress of Build and Find in Files on Status Bar

Paws studio displays the progress of time consuming actions like "Build’s" and "Find in Files" in the status bar window.

1.3.5 Reload of paws project after user performs "Get Latest Version" from Source Safe

Paws project will be automatically reloaded when the user performs a right click "Get Latest Version" on the paw file from Source Safe. The Paw’s Project Tree will be updated to display the contents of the newly updated paw file. Earlier users were required to restart Paw’s studio application for the changes to be noticed.
