Developer's Studio Run Time System
Version 1.34.6
21 September 2006
1. Critical Items
Duplicated GUIDs
A duplicated GUID had been identified for the IO resources whose ProgIDs
are RtsIOEx.RecordOrientedFileResource and RtsIO.RS232Resource. Due to this issue, the latter resource could not be
instantiated. This problem has been fixed by assigning a new GUID for the file resource. All the original ProgIDs have been preserved.
2. Known Limitations
3. Enhancements.
TDGViewer shows BMP correctly for CIIL-MATE instruments
TDGViewer.exe has been enhanced to identify and show properly the Block-Module-Path information of the individual
switches if the switch database had been design to support a CIIL-MATE switch device.
4. Problem Reports
PR06030 TDGViewer Shows Wire - - as Switch Server Bus Labels
Paws TdgViewer.exe showed Wire - - instead of Bus – as switch-server bus labels in the test diagrams. This has
been fixed.
PR06094 RTS crashes if it loads a single module TPS
This circumstance should never happen in reality. Each Paws project should have at least one ATLAS PROGRAM along
with zero or more ATLAS MODULES. Most of the previous versions of RTS crashed at closing time, if they loaded and executed a TPS that
consisted of one MODULE. Starting with this release, RTS has been fixed and it does not crush even in this unlikely circumstance.
This failure had been an unfortunate consequence of the extensive maintenance work that had been recently done to
improve the connectivity of the RTS machine with the datalogger and the IO Subsystem. This has been explained in the Critical Items
section of the 1.34.2 release notes of our Paws Run Time System at
