Overview
The flowcharter ver. 2.0.0 brings a few major improvements. A more powerful flow generation algorithm generates charts more than 10 times faster in most of the cases. New features were added to control the generated output. These are listed in section 1.3, below.
To implement these new features a number of new DSF commands were added. See DSF commands documentation for further details. The generated flow is now persistently stored in standard PDF format. This is a result of TYX efforts towards open software architectures and technologies.
Due to the particularities of the new technologies used, slight differences from the previous version in the appearance of flowcharts may be noticed. Another behavioral difference,
is that no .dsf script will be generated by default. If a corresponding .dsf script is not found for the indicated ATLAS source file, then a flowchart is still generated, but if fine-tuning is necessary, the user will have to provide his own script. Scripts are plain text, and can be edited using any text editor. For details regarding .dsf script, please refer to the DSF commands documentation.

1.3.1 Capability to show defined MESSAGEs in line when called by OUTPUT statements.
1.3.2 Mechanism to control box breaking so that certain items are placed in specific boxes.
1.3.3 Capability to determine when branching which branch (TRUE or FALSE) flows continually.
1.3.4 Possibility to suppress the dollar sign as statement terminator.

2.1 Critical Items
2.1.1 Adobe Acrobat Reader
This version of flowcharter requires Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing the flowcharts. If the viewer is not already installed, please download it from http://www.adobe.com and install it.
The old proprietary viewer will no longer be supported.
2.1.2 Usage Instructions
The flowcharter ver. 2.0.0 can be launched from PAWS Studio by double-clicking on the "Flowchart" item in the "Tools" pane.
2.1.3 Note on blank lines in statements
Empty lines within statements are ignored unlike in the previous version. This is by design.
