1.0 Overview

The following sections outline critical information needed to use this release of the Test Diagram Generator and an enhancement included with this release of Test Diagram Generator.

1.1 Critical Items

1.1.1 Important Installation Note

Javalicinterface.dll, tyxlic.dll, and dllelm.dll must be in the "Path" in order for the TDG to work. After installation of Developers Studio containing the TDG product, these files can be copied from either the bin or the prg directory.

1.1.2 Prerequisite to TDG Generation

The project should be compiled , flowed and allocated without errors and warnings to produce correct diagrams.

1.1.3 Time Requirement

Projects that involve a moderate to large number of tests ( > 100 ) will take a significant amount of time to diagram. The Test Diagrammer should be left running .

1.2. Enhancement

1.2.1 Progress Indicator

A Progress indicator will be displayed when the Tdgen is started. This progress indicator shows the Test Number that is currently being processed.

1.3. Problem Reports

PR 98-056 Output overwriting other output.

With a very simple example the output looks funny. Data points seem to be overwriting one another in the TDG printout. Included with this PR on file is a hardcopy of the incorrect diagram (supplied by the customer).

Release 1.1.0 fixes this problem. This problem report has been closed.

PR 98-061

The customer reports that the 'Vecb340st.atl' file seems to let the TDG die silently, i.e. after some seconds of heavy CPU load there is no more visible activity and almost no CPU load, but TDGEN is marked 'active' in the Developer's Studio. The customer reports that he let it run for approximately 2 hours.

As noted in 1.2.1 (above), TDG now has a progress indicator. Also please note that a moderate to large number of tests may take some time to be diagrammed.

This problem report has been closed.
