TestBase General Options
4900
Integrated Development Environment (IDE) GUI - This module supports the development of test strategies, allowing the user to design Control Flow Diagrams and to specify parametric data. The module also provides test strategy debugging capabilities. This figure provides a pictorial sample of this module’s appearance. In order to utilize the module, the user needs to procure Microsoft Visio® separately.
4901
Diagnostic Controller - This module allows the user to control the execution of test strategies in the production environment, by offering a simple user interface that supports user input/output and displays the current status of execution. System integrators can develop alternative production user interfaces. The user interface included in the distribution is also provided in source format (Visual Basic), to allow its customization by system integrators.
4950
Adapter for LabWindows/CVIä
test procedures - This optional module supports the execution of test procedures implemented as Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) using National Instruments LabWindows/CVI. The distribution includes documentation describing the development process, as well as sample test procedure code.
4951
Adapter for PAWS® - This optional module supports the execution of ATLAS test procedures developed with the TYX PAWS environment. The distribution includes documentation describing the development process, as well as sample test procedure code.
4952
Adapter for COM test procedures - This optional module supports the execution of test procedures implemented as COM objects with Microsoft Visual C++, Visual Basic, Visual J++ or other environment allowing the development of COM objects. The distribution includes documentation describing the development process, as well as sample test procedure code.
4953
Custom Adapters for Test Procedures - Custom adapters can be developed by TYX, to support other development environments.
4954
Adapter for Microsoft Excel® Reports - This optional module supports the run-time generation and display of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, used as reports. Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macros and the Microsoft ADO technology are used in reports, to retrieve information from the MTI subsystem (see below).
4960
Adapter for Internet Explorer - This optional module supports the run-time display of HTML documents and Dynamic HTML (DHTML) reports. It also enables the display of document formats supported by Internet Explorer, including text (ASCII), Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio.
4963
Custom Adapters for Documents and Reports - Custom adapters can be developed by TYX, to support the run-time display of other document or report formats.
4970
TestBase MTI Subsystem - This optional module supports the database storage of Maintenance Test Information, which includes the list of executed test procedures, their outcomes, other test results (e.g. measurements, compare limits, computed values, etc.), diagnosed faults and actual faults. The Oracle8i® database engine is currently supported. Support for other database engines may be provided upon request. In order to utilize the module, the user needs to procure Oracle8i separately.
4980
MTI Adapter for QUOTIS® - This plug-in communicates MTI data to the QUOTIS Quality Management System. In addition to database storage, QUOTIS provides extensive capabilities for data analysis, providing intelligent, adaptable support in the repair process. QUOTIS is developed by SEKAS GmbH, a TYX partner, and is described elsewhere in this Product catalog (P/N 4759).
4981
Custom MTI Adapters - Custom adapters may be developed by TYX for other third-party products that support the storage of MTI data.
4990
Test Strategy Importers - These optional modules support the import of test strategies generated by third-party diagnostic tools. Custom adapters may be developed by TYX for specific products. AI-ESTATE compliant diagnostic tools will be supported in the future.
4991
Test Procedure Generation Wizards - These optional modules support the generation of skeleton code for test procedures, based on the characterization of these test procedures in the TestBase IDE. Custom wizard modules specific to each test procedure development environment may be developed by TYX.
